On the estate, we have a variety of venues that can accommodate both small and big events, and we are flexible when it comes to catering and décor.
We provide all the necessary amenities such as catering services, audio-visual equipment, and a bar. We’ll provide all the essentials including chairs, tables, cutlery, and crockery, so you can focus on enjoying your special day.

There are a variety of event spaces available at our venue, from intimate settings to large ballrooms. We have the ideal space for you, whether you’re organizing a kitchen tea with close friends or a big bridal shower with all your family and friends. Additionally, we give you the choice of hosting your event indoors in one of our stunning venues, or outdoors on our gorgeous lawns or courtyard. One is spoiled for options at Soetendal Estate.
The Courtyard
The Courtyard is set next to the majestic Soetendal dam, surrounded by the picturesque countryside. This 150 sqm space, which includes a traditional braai area, is perfectly suited for pre-drinks, cocktail functions, and even smaller intimate wedding ceremonies. Alternatively, you can dance the night away under the stars as this flexible area offers romantic lighting and freestanding fireplaces to set the atmosphere.
The Polo Venue
The Polo Venue (1280 sqm) comprises of the foyer, the main hall, an exclusive lounge and a 12-metre long bar. It seats up to 250 guests easily with a large dancefloor, or 300 guests without a dancefloor. This venue is equipped with a 12m long bar, two fireplaces, and an exclusive non-smoking cigar lounge to keep the groom happy.
The Lawns
We offer wide open outside spaces of 11700 sqm of emerald-green freshly mowed lawns, allows you to enjoy the wide open outside spaces which characterise Soetendal Estate.
The Menu and Décor
Soetendal Estate focuses mainly on the execution of the event itself and therefore makes use of outsourced catering services to suit your taste and budget. We offer a fully equipped kitchen, cooking facilities and delivery/pick-up space. Whether imposing, intimate or uniquely themed, décor companies listed in our preferred list below will be happy to help you decorate the venue to your personal taste and liking, to match your dream colours, style and feel.
